Website Design

A business website gives your business legitimacy. When your potential customers look at your website they will pass judgement and make decisions about whether or not they will even visit your store, restaurant or office. Should they believe your website doesn’t reflect the kind of experience your business – or a business like yours – should offer, they’re likely to dismiss you entirely.

Not having a business website also raises questions in customers’ eyes. Are you a technological luddite? Just still haven’t gotten around to it? Or such a shoestring startup that you can’t even afford to do this? All things you don’t want people thinking about your business. If you don’t have a website, you’re missing out on opportunities for customers to identify who you are and if they want to spend money with you. This said, if you have a bad website it is better to have no website. While no website equals missed opportunities, a bad website can actually be worse since it literally makes your business look bad.

YOUR IMAGE, THE WAY YOU WANT IT

According to our findings, 65% of consumers report that a digital brand experience has changed their opinion (either positively or negatively) about a brand or the products and services a brand offers. For those brand marketers still neglecting (or underestimating) their digital market, it’s as if they showed up to a cocktail party in sweatpants. Dress for the job you want.

Endless Possibilities

Many people simply don’t know what they can achieve with a website: bill payments, sales, content management, newsletter registration, customer portal, email drip campaigns, subscriptions – the list goes on. If you’re already clear on what can be done, you’ll understand that an expert is needed to pull it all off.

But here’s the thing: we don’t just sell a list of features. We want you to see us as a partner who will share in the joy of the success that your services will bring. The features are only part of what you want. After all, thousands of freelancers could design and code your next site, but here at SRQ360 we care about our clients and their needs individually. That’s what makes us a family business – and we want you to be a part of the family.

EVERYTHING IS TRACKABLE

When we build websites, we always equip it with top of the line tracking so our clients get more metrics for their site than they could with print ads and other traditional advertising channels. You can always look at the metrics and visualize the investment in your website paying its own dividends, which is always our main goal.

FAQS

What do your websites cost?

The short answer: Our prices depend on many factors, so it’s impossible to say this in one sentence. Avoid any web developer who can answer this question without a long conversation first.

The long answer: To get a better idea of the cost of what you want to build, give us a quick phone call. We’ll ask you a few questions about the nature of the site, what sort of interactivity the site will have, your graphic design needs, etc. Then we’ll be able to give you a ballpark figure. If you’re still interested, we’ll come to your place of business and come up with a firm quote.

If you talk to a web developer who gives you an instant quote, run away! Imagine telling someone you want a car and having them immediately giving you a price for that car. Any fair and honest car salesperson would want to know the make, model and engine type of the car you’re looking to purchase, right? The same goes for building web sites.

How long does it take to create a website?

The length of time it takes to create a fully functional website is based on several factors. Custom design work can take anywhere from 1 – 4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design and the number of revisions you require. The development phase requires an additional 1 – 6 weeks, depending on the number of pages, and the functionality required. Of course, these are general guidelines, and we will make every effort to meet the timeframe you have in mind.

Are any other services included in your web design and development costs?

Yes. Our web design and development service includes a configuration of a Google Business account and basic search engine optimization services. Basic SEO includes submission of your site to the major search engines, and the setup of your primary metatag information (Page Title, Description and Keywords). Additionally, your site is built from the ground up with search engine friendly technologies and methods.

Does SRQ360 provide web hosting services?

No. And be cautious when other Sarasota web design companies say they do. Most real web hosting companies have massive data centers that have hundreds of employees, triple power redundancy (in case of a blackout in the region) and 24-hour security staff guarding the facility.

When a local web developer claims that they also host web sites, they’re almost certainly just a middleman for a real web host. That means that they mark up the cost of hosting and pass it along to you. And it means that if your server ever has a problem, you’ll have to go to them and they’ll contact your host for you. Are they on call 24-7? Of course not. Another major disadvantage to using a web developer as a host — if you’re ever dissatisfied with their service, they control the server that hosts your site. Extracting your company from the relationship could be very difficult.

At SRQ360, we listen to your needs and suggest the most affordable web hosting option that meets the technical specifications of your new site. You’ll pay the host directly and you may contact them directly if you ever need to do so.

Will I have a say in the graphic design process?

Absolutely. Our goal is to please you. We can’t do that without your input. If there are other sites with a design style that you would like to emulate, we can do that. If you have a logo or brand collateral that you’d like us to work around, that’s no problem. We’ll be sure your new site will be a consistent and integral part of your overall brand.

Will everyone see my website the same?

Your website visitors will see some things differently depending on their browser, screen resolution setting and their individual computer settings and toolbars. We design sites with that in mind and preview them in several browser types and resolution settings before publishing. As technology alters continually eventually all websites may need some tweaking or re-evaluation.

Are your websites search engine friendly?

All of our websites are designed around Google’s guidelines for organic SEO. In addition to having a search engine friendly website, we will create a sitemap.xml file and submit it to Google upon launch if you’ve purchased an all inclusive package. We will can also create a 301 redirect file to help the search engines and visitors find the new pages based on the older pages that are already indexed. We do offer advanced SEO packages and work with a local affiliated company to help provide the best SEO services.

Do you accept every client?

Absolutely not. If the client is not a good fit, the opportunity is not quoted. Creating a new website is a big endeavor, so the website designer and their client need to have synergies for the project to launch successfully. The same is true for customizations of existing themes. If we don’t feel that we’re a good fit or that WordPress isn’t a good fit, we’ll quickly tell you so.

What payment options do you offer?

Company check and/or credit cards are accepted. All projects require a down payment of 50% to start.

Can I update my website after launch?

SRQ360 offers ongoing website maintenance. We’re happy to provide design and content updates at our standard hourly rate. Your website proposal will reflect these costs.
